I get it, It's easier to hide to duck out on the uglier parts of your nature, but consider this. A wound can never heal properly until it has been dressed with the medicine, and care that it needs. Your heart will never be whole if you keep avoiding the cuts, and mars that take away from your immediate beauty. You are a treasure thats been hidden by the pain, hurt, and wounds of this life. In order to uncover this gift God gave to the world, it has to be re-discovered, revealed, restored, uncovered.

Only God can do that.

No, It might not happen all at once.

It might not happen overnight.

It is in the day to day, step by step process that we discover the hidden beauty God has been producing all along.

When we address and face the layers of scar tissue that hinder us from growth, embrace the painful reality of the state of our own hearts,

we finally know what it is to be free.

We no longer feel broken because our cracks have been filled, we no longer search for meaning because we have learned where meaning is found, we no longer lack fulfillment because the one who fulfills all things lives within us.

How can we keep fighting His love and embrace, how can we justify walking away from our purpose. We were made for a reason, so then the question will be... do we want to find it?
