Wait on the Lord,
Wait on His voice,
Don't grow impatient,
you have a choice.
Nothing is worthless,
Nothing is lost,
pick up the mantle,
Carry your cross.
Fields they are white,
yet laborers Who?
Called there are many
but chosen a few.
Beautiful fire,
thats burning within,
you are my teacher
Companion and friend.
Light never failing,
will you shine out bright.
Brighten my darkness,
awaken my night.
Consume me in color
enrobe me with you
let love enfold me
till everything's true.
Until then I wait,
Father
Only on you... I wait...
28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
29He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power.
30Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly,
31Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
(Isaiah 40:28-31)
4 Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. (Psalm 27:14)
