I’m hungry for something the world can’t supply, I’m thirsty for water that never runs dry.
Searching for a fountain that never runs out, that still overflows in the middle of drought.
I’m aching for solace for some kind of peace, when I don’t have refuge or substance in me.
I’m dying without it, the real living Bread, that’s served at a table where I’m daily fed.
Give me this water give me a drink, give me this food that will fill up my need.
I am so desperate for what you supply, God I’m an island and I’m running dry.
So come.
fill the space,
fill me up,
Set me free
Because you are the only thing living in me❤️🔥
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” —Isaiah 55:1-3
