Midnight Devotion (Renewed)

Three nights ago I had a dream, It woke me out of my sleep with a start.

In my dream I was working at my job when all of a sudden I realized that it was dark as if it were evening outside. The clouds covered the sun and I thought to myself, "It's only 9:00am,why is it so dark?"

As I wondered this a verse came to me:

"'THE SUN WILL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THE GREAT AND GLORIOUS DAY OF THE LORD SHALL COME." Acts 2:20

As this verse came to me a realization dawned on me and I thought "could it be?" as I thought this I looked up and it was as if the roof of my building (where I worked) had disappeared and above me the sky was cloaked in thick dark grey clouds with a dark orange/auburn tinge to the sky and all of a sudden while I was staring at these clouds one pin point of light appeared in the middle of them and it grew quickly into a large Bright white light that consumed the darkness. As it grew I knew it was the coming of the Lord. I began to lift up and then I saw all of these people rising with me into this portal. As we rose there were bright lights and we were passing through the atmosphere. It was bright, white,light and dark blue in color and in the middle of this portal was what looked like a DNA Ladder ascending down to the earth. During my dream a few other things happened, but this is all that I am feeling led to share right now. It felt so real and has been stuck in my spirit consistently over the past few days. My spirit impressing upon me that it wasnt just some dream that came to me ,but that there was a message there. I have been feeling such an urgency pressing upon my spirit. I feel in my deepest part that Jesus is coming VERY SOON and that we are getting so close to his return.

While this brings insurmountable joy it also brings me a feeling of reverence and holy fear. I feel the earnest desire to do only what He leads,and I do not want to miss His call. I know many of you feel the same and so now Im writing this in obedience to His spirit and voicing the warning that the world needs to hear!

Jesus is coming SO SOON! Don't serve anything else but Him, not even yourself. Check your heart Daily,hourly and make sure that you are standing before God completely surrendered. Our job is to be willing and obedient and to have a heart that is quick to repent and forgive. We must hold onto what is true and trust in the God the creator of all things. We cannot waste time through playing at life. we cannot focus on the things of this earth,

we must seek His face,we must seek Him,we must be set apart for his purposes. We will not be popular,we will not be well known, we will not compromise. God is calling us forth His true bride. He desires You and me to come to him everyday in surrender in repentance. I just realized recently that seeking His forgiveness for my sins daily is the only way to truly live your life in Humility. We need Him now more than ever before.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (KJV Matthew 5:16)

There is a song on my new album entitled "Midnight Devotion", I say this not as a promotion for you to buy my music. In fact you can listen to it for free. I mention this only because of the way that the song (the entire album really) was given to me: It was given overnight when I was sitting at my computer. I was not planning on working on my music and what started as a 5 minute task turned into a 12 hour music spree where God gave me words, melodies,and rythyms Faster than I could record. It was His timing for it and Gods spirit was moving on me so strongly during the process. He finished the entire album in 24 hours writing three new songs and finishing every song I had been working on over the course of 2 years. He wrote EVERY WORD. I say this because when I listen to the album its like Im hearing Him speak, and the message is the same "Draw close to me, the hour is coming soon and is now upon us,draw close". Midnight devotion came out of an inner prayer to be willing and obedient to Jesus.

In this song He impressed upon me the passage in the bible regarding the 10 virgins where 5 left their lamps oiled and 5 did not oil their lamps and fell asleep so that when the Bridegroom came they missed His coming.

25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour."

He told me that so many in the church (The True Body) are asleep right now that they dismiss the urgency of the times because they feel they have already heard it a million times("Jesus is coming back") ,or they aren't ready to let go of their earthly dreams and desires that they hold, or they simply are afraid of living life completely surrendered to God...

Whatever the reasons God is trying to wake His people up like never before and the signs of the times are happening all around us. I pray that we seek and obey Him with all of our hearts ,despite what it might cost us,despite ourselves. May we be found worthy, may we be found willing,

May the courage and boldness we need to lead the world to Christ be a consistent force in our lives! There are so many who need Him and until we are in Heaven the work isn't over. No matter what, we finish the course that is set before us and we finish it well!

7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
