The Winding Road (One Step at a Time)

This is a golden opportunity, to get lost in all He is. To find yourself by letting go of who you are. Contradictory it may sound but any contradiction in the light of eternity makes perfect sense to me. It sounds strange to let yourself go and to embrace what God wants you to be. Everywhere we go we're told to stand out, be a leader, don't be what other people want you to be, be true to yourself, and do what YOU want. But in the process of dying to oneself we find that the most important thing is giving up what we want, and letting go of what we desire most! Living for the opinion of our God, knowing that He knows whats best. and trusting him completely with EVERYTHING. What a jump, a leap of faith. To take a road thats winds are so narrow and steep we can't possibly know what the journey holds. All we can do is take it one step at a time. Knowing that our destination is good that it is far better than anywhere we've been before. That our Loving God and father will be waiting for us, arms open wide, with a reward for our obedience.
This is why the Jesus said that "you must be like a little child before you can enter into the kingdom of God." Children Depend on their earthly parents for pretty much everything. They lean upon the opinions, decisions, and trust in whatever their parents tell them. This child-like dependency is what Jesus was talking about. You must be like a little child completely dependent on your father for everything you need. That means at no point should we be acting independent of Him, any steps we take outside of our fathers guidance are steps away from Him,and anywhere away from Him is NOT where we want to be. We must first acknowledge that we literally have no knowledge, or wisdom that is greater or exceeds that of the Most High. Then we acknowledge that we need Him in our lives in order to be all that He's called us to be. Once we do this we get quiet and take some time each day, speaking to Him alone and listening in return for His voice, and His guidance, reading His word and seeking His plan for our lives, and when we hear, then we obey. Sure there will be trial and error sure you may make a mistake or two,but the thing about growing is, it doesn't matter how many times you break your moms favorite dish, or how many times you fall down and skin your knee. All of it comes around to make a firm foundation. So that the next time the opportunity comes around you have a slimmer chance to make the same mistake twice.
We are all learning in this walk,we are all growing and catching speed.
The most important thing however is,that you get back up,trust in who's holding you and keep climbing that narrow steep path. Its not easy, but it is worth it. Besides With God's strength in us,How could we possibly fail. Its all in Him and He is in us!
How Beautiful is that! :D

(Matthew 18:3 )
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
(Matthew 17:14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
