The light should draw you out

so why do you feel so afraid

withdrawn into your doubt,

eagerly your waited on, by those who need to know

the life you carry deep inside,the proof were not alone.

Why do you hide inside your shell,

afraid to shine out bright,

you were made to be a gem,

reflect the purest light.

Not everyone who knows you knows the truth of who you are

Some people mistake day for night, and leave you wounds that scar.

chains designed to hold you down will break free from their mold

you were meant for so much more, Your story's yet untold

Loveliness is found within,His love has set the pace

and you have all you need to know, that you can win this race.
