Choices...

Sometimes the choices we make don't seem very important but they are...

The simplest choice although it may seem worthless either lead you closer or father away from your God given destiny and God himself.

I have been learning to listen to the Holy spirit when He speaks to me. Listening for Gods voice and being obedient is a key step in fulfilling His will for our lives. I have been learning my whole life, Sometimes Ive listened and been perfectly obedient, and sometimes I allow fear to keep me frozen in place and miss my opportunity..

But for what. what are we so scared of that we allow ourselves to stay hidden, afraid to shine His light afraid to step out.

When God asks us to do something , all it takes is one step forward,one word spoken, one choice made.

That choice is when you decide that no matter how much fear you feel you know He told you to do this,and that even if He didn't and you make a mistake He is a good father and He will protect you and guide you through it.

He would rather us step out in faith and be wrong, than never to step out at all...

And thats it ,we learn, sometimes we fall, we get up, we practice and trust Him.

I mean think about it we don't expect to get anything else right the first time we try it, You don't see a young athlete who just started running going to the olympics do you.

Of course not, anyone when wants to go to the olympics must undergo rigorous preparation and practice.

Listening to God's voice and being obedient, is something that we must put into practice and that is How we learn to hear and obey.

God knows what He's doing we just need to not be afraid. We our meant to change this world, not be changed by it.

We continue in His promise and listen to His voice. We get better and better at discerning when He speaks...and better and better at being available to Him wherever He may lead.

This is the walk He is asking of us,and this is where we can begin...
