True Beauty...

"What is on the inside is of more worth than what is on the outside."

God looks into your heart,and it is within your heart that true beauty lies.

You cannot dress up, or decorate your heart.

You cannot cover up the blemishes left by your attitudes and disobedience to God.

He knows it all. Everything that the heart is, in it's entirety.

What you think, feel, and decide within your being is a completely private thing that only you and God can entirely know.

Beauty is appealing to Him, but not the beauty that man recognizes, rather, the beauty that lies within.

It would be better if you had no outward beauty at all,than no beauty within you.

Many pursue and make it their mission to change their inner ugliness by great deeds and actions.

These things might make you feel good for awhile,but they are not what bring true beauty,

This beauty within comes from His spirit alone.

He makes us beautiful, and His eyes search to and fro throughout the earth for someone who is surrendered to that beauty,someone who's allowed Him to take over and transform what once was a sinful,bruised, and battered/ugly heart.

He looks within, to your core, your true desires,your true intentions,

He knows them all and has destined you to give in.

Give in to His gentleness,His tender Love which makes you into the kind of person you were always meant to be.

A pure reflection of His love, and all that He is.

A lamp that shines His light!

You know when the slightest change is occurring, because you feel it's side effects (or its fruits...)

The Fruits of the Spirit:

(Galatians 5:22-23)

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

These inner qualities are all beautiful traits that translate into your outward actions.

They are the result of you carrying His word and His life inside of you,

It is abundantly clear to you the moment you begin to carry it,

and as it grows and soaks in more and more of His Light and Love.

Our inner beauty can no longer be contained and begins to radiate and shines forth from us, like a light to those in need,

To those who are looking for the cure to their inward disease,

it draws them closer to us.

Giving us the opportunity to share that love that has transformed our hearts and spirits and brought us alive.

True Beauty is just a side effect of His presence within our lives.

So let us never forget,

What truly Makes us beautiful inside and out,

and where TRUE Beauty, really lies...

Not in us alone,

But with Christ, in us, the Hope of Glory,

Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.
