In the Storm...

When we are surrendered to God in fullness,we find something that we have been searching for.
There is a satisfaction that Comes from only Him, a hole in our beings that can only be filled by His love.
In the darkest times of our lives, we often question what the purpose is for our crippled position,
Understanding God is good but not understanding why were going through the challenges we face.
How wonderful is His love for us,How gracious He is.
but how do we cling to this knowledge when we cant feel His presence...
When everything's been stripped bare, and your broken to the core, hurting with a heart that has been shattered from the pain of this life.
Where is He?...
He is there.
Arms open wide, waiting for you to cling to him.
He stays afloat,
and is the ONLY thing that stays afloat, in the storms that we face,
He is the only safety, the only refuge, the only shelter in the wind and rain,
and these storms are only meant to draw you closer to Him...
Remember that God will always protect those who find refuge in Him.
"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."
(Psalms 91:1)
He saw the storms coming ,he knew the challenges that we would face,
and He purposed that the outcome and end result would bring much beauty and health to who you are in Him.
It may not seem like it at first,
The rain batters your face, and no matter how you try you can't seem to fight against the steady torrent of wind and waves that seem to press you down.
But we know despite it all, that Our God specializes in making the broken things beautiful...
He wants you to be prepared to weather every storm that comes your way with success.
So... as we survive this storm,
Please hold onto this truth,
Clinging to Him will always be your saving grace...
No matter what you face,Run to Him,find refuge in Him Alone..
If you continually seek, you shall continually find that He is faithful.
and it shall only add to your testimony, not detract from it...
You belong to Him, and in Him alone you are always safe.
Like a child who hears the storm outside of their window and runs into the arms of their father for protection,
You are held and protected,
You are safe, if you will only choose to come to him.
You will never have to be afraid of the storm or the outcome.
You can know, that all is well.
In His arms, there is Peace in the storm...
"8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life."
(Psalms 42:8)
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
(Psalms 42:11)
