I Am Not Great...

All My Life I have had the desire to be Great. Used in some great way,to do some great thing(s). I remember watching and reading about others who had (like I wished to) done great things and succeeded at earning acclaim, and recognition from the World for what they had achieved.

Waving to thousands of fans and events where people would flock just to hear me speak or sing...

I thought once that I would like that to be me,but I don't think so anymore.

Im not Great,Im not special or unique.

None of my merits are worthy of any acclaim for they are not my own.

I am the same as all the rest, a simple human being with an undeniable need for Grace and Love.

I don't claim my abilities or talents as my own... in fact I shirk ownership of them all,

For all of them were given by the one who created me and all were meant to be used by and for His glory.

Fame,acclaim,recognition,all sound nice on the surface,But I have learned that what makes me famous to the world separates me from the heartbeat and voice of God,

and If Im not famous with Him than I have no desire to be famous at all...

What the world sees as good ,is definitely the opposite of what God sees as good.

I will not be politically correct, for I believe there is only one truth and nothing political about it.

My Convictions and moral standing are not opinions subject to change.

They are a factual foundation, laid in me by the very heartbeat and hand of God.

There is no uncertainty,I am His.

I gave my Life to Him,

What is true can and will only be established by one who IS true.

"Jesus said I am the Way The Truth and the Life, and no man get to the Father but by me"

(John 14:6)

There is no halfway or middle ground, God is not demanding.

He is God,

and when we align ourselves with His perfection (or His Perfect will for our lives) we come into an understanding of who we are and why we were created.

God gave us free will as a gift, because he knew that Love wasn't worth anything, if it wasn't returned by choice.

He could have wound us up and programmed us to love Him... but He didn't, instead He gave us the choice. He gave us the greatest gift anyone could,

Freedom to choose, Life or Death...Truth or Lies...Love or Hate...Its all a choice

We choose everyday.

If we compromise our beliefs to appease others, it's usually because we don't know why we believe them...

The world will say well done, to anyone who doesn't stand for absolute truth,

who doesn't believe there is only one way,

Because they are confused themselves.

They despise anyone who isn't confused... saying "Theres no way for you to actually know that your right...

Where as our ability to know we are walking the right way comes from a source other than our minds or the knowledge that we acquire.

It comes from the spirit of God Himself...
