Beautifully Broken...

Who are we, What is our purpose,and How did we get so off track. The measure of your worth doesn't lie in your money,clothing,or the knowledge you possess . It Lies in the spirit soul and body that makes up who YOU are!

Your value lies within You.

You are a product of purpose,designed with a specific caliber,marked by the hand of God. You are a vessel of the highest quality, a tool designed to be used to carry the glory,power,love, presence and purposes of God Himself.

Don't you know who you are?

We are designed for a reason, But some of us are broken.

Some seemingly beyond repair.

There are holes in these vessels so that we can't hold as much as we used to,

We have handles that are broken so that we cannot be picked up out of our despair,

We have cracks in our foundation and are one step away from shattering to pieces.

All of us have been hurt, all of us have fallen short, all of us have anxiety ,and pressure, But none of these problems should get in the way of our relationship with God... and yet they do...

So here we are cut,broken,cracked,and filled with holes from the hurts,betrayals and pains of this life.

Can we be healed, somehow repaired back to working condition. The answer is YES, God can do anything, but here's where it gets tricky.

Our wounds create these problems, but when the repairer comes to bring repair we lash out in pain,tears welling in our eyes,and shrinking away from His hands we lick our wounds.

Not wanting to feel that pain or acknowledge that we need repair. We are not strong enough to heal ourselves let alone do what we've been called to on our own ... we desire to be used by God.

Yet, When He's asking us to Come to him so he can heal and bind up what makes us broken. He cant.

We wont let Him.

Have you ever tended the cuts or scrapes of a child, what do you use to disinfect the wound. Alcohol or peroxide.

What is that child's initial reaction when you apply that antiseptic ointment to their cut?

Anger, pain,tears,and shouts of agony?

Followed with them pushing your hand away... Too painful right?

"Too painful, God. Too painful" we say pushing His hand away from the area that has the most damage.

"Work on something else" we reply to His gentle but faithful tugging on our hearts to change what is not right within.

"Leave it alone" we say as we turn away from his gently urgent conviction of our hearts.

"Its too painful, It hurts too much"...

It does and yet without His healing power we will never be what He's called us to be.

We have to let Him heal,we have to let Him in.

What bring us healing often causes the most pain,but for a moment.

Then after a time the pain subsides and we are made whole again. Brand new as if we'd never been hurt or wounded.

That freedom is what you are meant for, that freedom allows you to fulfill your destiny.

That freedom is Christ in you the Hope of Glory.

If you allow His spirit to touch those areas of such deep concern in your heart, you will never be broken.

You will be shatter proof...

After all God's desire wasn't for us to be a broken vessels, but yielded one's...

(Psalms 37:3-7)

"3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass."
